Hair texture is nothing but the circumference of your hair. Hair texture is classified into three main types - fine, medium, thick. All three hair textures are different from one another and have their own traits. Whereas, hair types are divided into four such as Straight hair, wavy hair, curly hair, and very curly hair. Fine hair is the most delicate and fragile hair texture. This hair texture is very prone to breakage and damage as it has only two hair layers, cortex, and cuticle. It is difficult to style this hair texture as it can get oily very easily. Medium hair is the most common that what people have. It is fine but thicker hair. Every single hair strand has two layers, sometimes the third one called medulla. It is better to style this hair when compared to fine hair as it is more resistant to breakage and looks thicker. Thick or Coarse hair is the voluminous and fuller as it has all three layers, cortex, cuticle and medulla. This hair texture is tolerant of heat and styling products and breakage.
